#26 - "Yarbasan Evleri"
Perched on the upper lip of the cliff, this house offers a commanding panorama of the valley below and the mountains that rise starkly against the wide open sky. The village-like entryway leads directly onto a spacious terrace situated to take full advantage of the view. The patio is like an outdoor living room with an antique table, comfortable chairs, carpets on the tiled floors and even a wood-burning fireplace to keep life cosy if visiting outside the summer season. Double doors with wrought-iron windows open into the first floor, an open design with an articulated kitchen and a dining area with a marble table, as well as a living area with comfortable furniture and striking paintings in front of yet another fireplace. Many windows, some of stained glass, bear plentiful light and aspects of the view from different angles. The tall ceiling is composed of wooden beams and decorative reliefs around the light fixtures. A pure-white staircase descends to the lower floor with its large master bedroom, complete with a French double bed and its own sitting room and cable TV, as well as a second bedroom with two single beds. A bright, marble-outfitted bathroom has a shower-stall that is designed to delight with its mosaic floor and ultra-modern equipment. Patio doors from the lower floor exit onto a private garden and a shimmeringly aquamarine, private swimming-pool with its own deck and lounging chairs, in a setting that seems to levitate from the valley. This is an excellent, fully equipped house which despite its name offers lots of space for privacy as well as communal activities. Here one can entertain guests, or simply kick back and relax. It is ideal for two adults and two children on a vacation that will allow everyone the freedom to do as they like in the phantasy environment of Yarbasan.
